When we arrived at the airport we first looked around for the taxi stands. The taxi brought us within 10 minutes to the "Europcar". Our first destination was not the hotel but the car rental company to pick up our rental car for the next few days. It cost about 150€ for the 4 days and I would recommend you to book it online before. On the spot you usually get worse prices. From the car rental we went to the hotel and checked in.

Before we looked for a place for dinner we visited the "Linköping Cathedral". With its pulpit, the baptismal font and the shimmering blue windows it is really worth seeing. We could have stayed here a little bit longer, but the kids got hungry quite fast and so it was time to look for a restaurant.

We tried to find a restaurant close to the hotel so that we would not have to carry the children halfway across the city afterwards because they would be too tired to walk. With the "Stangs Magasin" we found the perfect restaurant in our opinion. Here you get typical dishes with regional products. The staff is child-friendly and explained to us very well what the ingredients are in each dish and which wine would go best with it. We were really satisfied with the restaurant and can recommend it with a clear conscience 😊.
